Top-coated metallized barrier films
Metacoat is Celplast's family of top-coated (coated metallized) films, in which a protective coating is applied over the metallized layer to deliver exceptional barrier performance and extended shelf life. The films are available across multiple substrates, including polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester and PLA. Several grades, such as the DURAMET RR PE sealant, are engineered for all-PE packaging structures as recycle-ready barrier solutions. Typical uses include extended shelf-life dry food, powder and general food packaging.

Metacoat® is Celplast’s top-coating technology rather than a separate film line — these grades are supplied under the DURAMET® and REFLECT-MET® families, where the same sheets also appear.
