Performance Comparison
In comparative testing, 3-ply PET/DURAMET®/CPP adhesive laminates achieved barrier and bond results equivalent to traditional 4-ply PET/foil/nylon/CPP adhesive laminates. Similar results were demonstrated when comparing 4-ply PET/foil/PET/LDPE structures against 3-ply PET/DURAMET®/LDPE adhesive laminates. These results were validated across different laminators using multiple commercially available adhesive systems.
Regulatory Compliance
DURAMET® meets FDA food contact requirements for all food types under Condition of Use E. The product also complies with Swiss Chemicals Ordinance SR 813.11 (ChemO) and European Regulation No. 10/2011 for food contact applications.
Manufacturing Capability
Celplast prepared for commercialization with "the world's first large-scale 2.45 m wide Metacoat® top-coating and metallizing process," enabling partnership with converters to develop next-generation laminates.
