Celplast Installs Large Scale Production of low-E facer for the Building Insulation Industry
Celplast is installing the first large-scale Metacoat metallizer to produce REFLECT-MET, a low-E, corrosion-resistant metallized PET facer for reflective and radiant barrier insulation, on webs up to 98 inches wide.
Celplast Metallized Products Ltd. is installing the first large-scale metallizer to use patented Metacoat® technology, which applies a protective top-coating inside the metallizing chamber. This equipment will produce REFLECT-MET® on webs up to 98 inches wide.
REFLECT-MET is a low-E (0.05 emissivity), corrosion-resistant metallized PET facer designed for reflective and radiant barrier building insulation, vacuum insulation panels, clothing, and protective packaging.
